Ells Bells (daddy’s nickname for you);
Sweetheart of all sweethearts, you make my heart swoon. You are 18 months old now. You do so many fun things I want to talk about but it is hard to sum them all up. I’ll start with a list of some of your most used words; Mama, Dada, dog-dog, baby, this, all done, more, no, me, bye-eee, and taa-daa! Aside from talking so much, you love to sing (itsy bitsy spider) and dance, especially to the “chicken dance” song but any 'ol tune will do. One of your moves (when encouraged) is to shake your butt. You do this by putting both hands on the ground and your butt up in the air and bobbing up and down! You and your brother love to dance and run around together. You play all day long. You are one tough cookie. You keep up with your brother (over 3 years old now) and sometimes leave him in your dust, literally. You love the dirt. Nothing stops you. Maybe that has to do with how much eat. You eat a lot! People have always commented on how much you can put away. It is not surprising if you eat twice the portion I will eat at dinner. You have a habit of rubbing any left over food from your tray into your hair at every meal. It's cutely annoying. All that food is being put to good use. You are over 97th percentile (growth chart) in Height, and Weight. Also, your head size is 95th percentile. I will not be surprised if you are taller than me one day.  You are the kissing queen. I call you kissy face! You are always looking for an opportunity to kiss! Whenever someone gets hurt you are right there to plant your lips on the boo boo and make it all better. You love your baby dolls, particularly Caillou. Your babies get lots of kisses too! You are easy going with other adults and particularly love your Auntie Coco and Auntie Julie. But you will go to almost anyone. We have to watch you! You suck your thumb to fall asleep and often use your free thumb to caress you ear. So. So. Cute. You're smart, beautiful, and funny. My girl, you are only one and a half but you have a rich presence on this earth. So many people enjoy your company, and your sweet disposition. Here are a few pictures to prove what I have been saying. We love you so much little mama. Love watching you grow.

One-der-ful!

Oh baby girl, time is FLYING by. You turned one last week. One! But that means more than 12 months of loving you. It's more like 12 + 9 (when I was pregnant)... so 21 months of loving you! It's been awesome! You are such a blessing in so many ways. You brighten a room. Your big smile, your plump cheeks, your gentle nature and keep-up attitude. You have helped changed mommy's heart too. I always knew I could love my babies and have a family. But now my heart has opened in a new way. It's open to receive God's love. My daily prayer is to enjoy every day with you and Brooks, and daddy! You all help light up my life. There are a 1,000 things I am thankful for everyday. And more and more I can't keep up with the gratitude for all we have. Life is good, life is beautiful. Thank God for you, and thank you for God. I love you sweet angel.
